The Maes y Pant project has been shortlisted to receive an award from Proctor
and Gamble’s ‘Future Friendly’ scheme. The regional winning project (Wales
winner in this case) will receive £1000, and the overall national winner will
get £10,000. The decision is made according to the number of votes the project
receives on the website. So please, follow the link below and vote - it's quick
and easy to do.

WREXHAM LOCAL DEVELOPMENT
PLAN (2006 - 2021)

have just received
notification of the Alternative Sites Register (January 2011).
Background:
Wrexham County Borough Council
placed the Local Development PLan (LDP) on deposit between 4th June - 16th July
2010. Consultation responses included representations which either suggested the
allocation of new sites, the alteration or deletion of sites allocated in the
LDP or alterations to settlement limits. These are known as
Alternative Sites.
The
purpose of this register is to provide information about the alternative sites
received. This is
your opportunity to tell WCBC what you think about
them during the consutation process which is taking place between
Friday 14th January and Friday 25th February 2011.
None of the sites have been endorsed by the Council, nor have they been assessed
by the Council as being suitable for development.
They are provided only for public
information and comment. An Independent Planning Inspector at the Examination in
Public will determine whether the plan should be changed as a result of these
suggested sites.
